PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment is due at the time of purchase. I cannot take orders over the phone. This ensures that you never have to worry about Firefly having access to your financial information.
For Wisconsin orders, sales tax will be added. And if your state has implemented out of state sales tax, it will automatically be added at check out.
For orders shipping outside of the USA, you are responsible for any Customs and Import fees that apply on your end.
SHIPPING
For items that are in stock and ready to ship, the goal is to ship within two to three business days, but faster service is likely. Please give extra time during the holidays or for inclement weather.
Bespoke, Customized, Personalized, and Made-To-Order items usually ship within 2-3 weeks of finalizing order with order details and payment, but each order can be different. Please check with individual listings for more details specific to your item. And you are always welcome to Contact Me if you have any questions!
Standard shipping to anywhere in the United States and Canada will be via USPS First Class mail or better. Free Standard Shipping on orders over $65 to anywhere in the USA and Canada! Orders under $65 will ship to the USA and Canada for $8.45.
For all International orders outside of USA and Canada, the shipment will be fully insured and included in a flat rate of $45.
All International Shipments require a signature for delivery on orders of $750.00 and over.
You are responsible for any customs and import fees that apply.
If you wish for faster service, please ask me for a service/shipping quote.
No shipping to PO Boxes - I am sorry.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Custom, Customized, and Clearance Items are Final Sale.
Buyer must contact seller within 7 days of receiving item to receive a refund. (14 days for EU as stated by EU law.)
Return shipping shall be covered by the buyer and use a trackable shipping method that provides confirmation at delivery.
Refund will be issued within 7 days of receiving returned item provided that it has been returned in the same condition it was sent out, minus a 10% restocking fee to cover the original cost of shipping and part of the cost of the transaction fee charged to me by my financial institution.
If the item shipped to you was not as described, I will pay or refund the return shipping as well.
In the event that a shipment was found to be undeliverable by the shipping service and then held for pickup at the local service location (ie. Local Post Office), buyer will be responsible for pick up. All reasonable attempts will be made by Firefly Jewelry Studio to contact the buyer and inform said buyer of any updates on shipment and pick up information, but no refunds will be made if the pick up is not attempted by the buyer within 14 days of the shipment's arrival at the local post office.
If the shipment is found to be undeliverable and returned by the shipping service, a refund for non-custom items will be issued within 5 days of Firefly Jewelry Studio's receipt of the returned shipment to the original method of payment, minus Firefly Jewelry Studio's original cost of shipping the item and a 10% restocking and handling fee. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact Buyer regarding Undeliverable Custom Items for a new shipping address in which to ship the item to, at Buyer's expense.
Refund does not apply to Custom, Customized, and Clearance Items. I cannot accept returns of Custom, Customized, nor Clearance Items. These items are Final Sale.
DISCLOSURE OF GEMSTONE TREATMENTS
I try to use stones in their natural state as often as possible, but some gemstones are generally treated to not only enhance their appearance but create durability and stability as well. Sapphires, emeralds, turquoise, opals and topaz are examples of stones that more often than not will be treated in some way.
While it is of course ethical to disclose this to the consumer, it is also important for the safety of your jewelry if you as the consumer know exactly what you are purchasing and how to properly care for the piece.
If there is no mention about treatment, the stone has not been treated to the extent of my knowledge.
Like the rest of the gemstone industry, I accept the idea of treatments as long as they are permanent, safe to the consumer, and disclosed.
LIFETIME WARRANTY
All jewelry comes with a lifetime of cleanings and a 1-year manufacturers-defect warranty. If anything happens to your jewelry caused by a defect in workmanship in the first year after purchase, just send it back and I will repair it for you at no cost. This does not cover damage caused by misuse or accidents caused by the owner. In this case I will of course take a look at the repairs that are needed and give an estimate of repair costs.
(My warranty only covers items made by Firefly Jewelry Studio. I cannot cover repairs to jewelry made by other companies named Firefly. For example, there is another company named Firefly based out of Guatemala that creates colorful jewelry made from Austrian Crystal and non-Precious Metals. The vast majority of people who contact me for repairs/lost stone replacements are looking for this company rather than Firefly Jewelry Studio. Please make sure you don't need to speak with them instead before contacting me. While I would of course respond to your inquiry and probably be able to help you with your repair, my warranty does not cover these costs and I hate having to break this to you!)
These are some examples of my work, just in case you are not sure if you have the right Firefly.
Every yearly anniversary of your purchase you can send the jewelry back to me and I will clean and polish it at no cost to you. I will also inspect it, and if it is with in the first year time frame and any repairs are needed due to manufacturers-defect, I will repair anything that might be wrong with it after contacting you. If the item has been previously repaired by anyone other than Firefly Jewelry Studio, this voids the 1-year warranty.
Please message me when your year is up to make cleaning arrangements with me.

ARTIST RIGHTS AND LEGAL FORMALITIES
All designs are the property of the Artist, Ginger Hansen and Firefly Jewelry Studio. Sharing images on media such as Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook is encouraged, but only with proper attribution to Firefly Jewelry Studio. Broken links to images of my work without proper attribution is not permitted, and please report to me any that you might find out there so that I can properly be credited.
Cropping out the copyright notice, my name, or company name from photos is not permitted.
The sale of an original art piece does not include the transfer and sale of ownership of the rights to reproduce or use the piece in any other way beyond personal display.
The artist still retains all rights to all of the images and designs.
In other words, please don't copy or steal my work, and give credit where credit is due.
Firefly Jewelry Studio and Ginger Hansen reserves the right to amend these policies at any time.

- 18k and 22k Gold, is gold alloyed with copper and silver
- 925 Sterling Silver, is silver alloyed with copper
- Fine Silver, is 99.9% Pure Silver
- 24k Gold, is 99.9% Pure Gold
The use of these metals insures that there is less of a risk of skin allergy than other metals that could be alloyed with nickel like white gold, etc. However, I cannot guarantee that you will not have a reaction so please monitor your skin when wearing any jewelry and see a specialist if there are any concerns.
